MARCO AMODEO
Marco, born in Pisa—one of Italy’s historic Maritime Republics—discovered his passion for the sea at a young age, inspired by a sailing boat his father built in their backyard.
He earned a Diploma in Mechanics and holds certifications as a ship surveyor, insurance surveyor, and yacht broker. His career flourished in Viareggio, a renowned hub for yacht construction, where he contributed to numerous high-level projects and collaborations.
With a strong international network and deep expertise in yacht construction and operations, Marco brings strategic value and dependable service to the marine industry and YACHT DIVISION’s clients.
FABIO NOVELLI
Fabio, born in Genoa, Italy, earned a High School Diploma in Industrial Technology with a specialization in Mechanical Engineering (Chief Technician). He continued his studies at the University of Genoa, attending the Specialized School for Pleasure Craft Design, along with the local Technical Institute.
With over 30 years of experience in some of Italy’s top shipyards, Fabio has developed in-depth expertise in shipbuilding, particularly with GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic) structures. His technical background and knowledge have led him to qualify as a professional Ship Surveyor.
Today, Fabio oversees YACHT DIVISION’s European operations from the company’s office in Genoa, bringing leadership, precision, and deep industry insight to every project.
MATTEO ZANONI
Born in Genoa in 1963, Matteo began his career in the automotive industry, gaining extensive experience as a mechanical engineer with prestigious brands such as Lamborghini and Saab. His enduring passion for boating led him to fully transition to the yachting sector in 2000.
He holds a Yacht Broker license and has spent over 20 years at sea, serving as both captain and chief engineer on pleasure vessels. Matteo has also worked with major Italian shipyards, providing after-sales services and technical supervision for new builds.
JUAN BARCENAS
Juan studied Electrical Engineering at the prestigious Simón Bolívar University in Caracas Venezuela, where his patience and persistence earned him a degree that reflects his strong commitment to the field.
After gaining hands-on maritime experience as a deckhand, Juan advanced to the role of ETO (Electro-Technical Officer), combining his engineering expertise with onboard operational knowledge. His contributions are essential to delivering thorough and accurate vessel status reports to our clients.
BRIAN REVILLEZA
Brian earned his Bachelor of Science in Marine Engineering from the prestigious Misamis Institute of Technology, a private institution in Mindanao, Philippines. With a strong technical foundation, he has built a successful career aboard mega yachts and holds the OIEW (Operator of an Independent Engine Watch) Unlimited certification.
He has played a key role in numerous yacht refits and new constructions. His hands-on experience, combined with a commitment to excellence, has given him deep expertise in all aspects of yacht engineering operations.
